Foresight Sustainable Forestry (ticker: FSF) joined the market in November 2021 when it raised £130m and it raised a further £45m in a placing several months later. It has built up a portfolio of around 65 forestry projects that cover 11,200 hectares -- mostly in Scotland with a little in Wales and England. JLEN Environmental Assets (ticker: JLEN) was launched in 2014 during the first wave of renewable trusts, raising £160m at its IPO and looking for annualised returns of between 7.5% and 8.5%. JLEN has raised money several times in recent years and its net assets have grown to £830m.
