Mobius Investment Trust (ticker: MMIT) was launched in 2018 and initially run by the team of Dr Mark Mobius and Carlos von Hardenberg, who had previously worked together at Franklin Templeton before deciding to set up their own fund management business. Dr Mobius, now in his late 80s, retired at the end of 2023, leaving Hardenberg as the lead manager. The trust holds a concentrated portfolio of mid-cap emerging market stocks, focusing on quality, and where it can help improve governance and company culture.
